Enjoying a nice evening walk along the corniche with the family and of course when we get back to the car it refuses to start, just a weak cranking sound that fades out after a second. The battery is probably about three years old so I guess it decided tonight was the night. Got the family sitting in a nearby cafe waiting while I figure this out. I need a
flat battery jump start Al Majaz area that can come out fairly quickly, it's getting late and the kids are getting cranky. My main concern is whether a jump start will even be enough or if I should just ask them to bring a replacement battery with them, since if the battery is this dead on a relatively mild evening it's probably completely shot and will just die again tomorrow morning when I need to get to work. Do these mobile services carry a range of batteries with them or do they just do the jump start and then you're on your own to get a new battery later? Also I'm parked in one of those paid parking zones near the waterfront, not sure if there are any restrictions about working on cars there or if the mobile guys can just pull up alongside and do what they need to do without issues from the parking inspectors. Anyone had a jump start done in a public parking area like this and was it hassle free?
